About Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering

Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering Pune is one of the premier institutes offering education in aviation with a legacy of 13 years. The institute is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of India. It is known to be the first college in Pune 4 MRO for practicals. IIAE Pune is in partnership with aviation training agencies like GoFirst, Indamer Aviation Pvt Ltd, GMR Air Cargo and Aerospace Engineering Ltd, etc.

There are a total of five IIAE Pune courses offered for a duration of three years under different fee structures. All the courses at Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering Pune are approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Out of them, the B.Sc Aviation programme is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Apart from theory classes, the courses at IIAE Pune engage students in workshop practices, lab procedures, testing of electrical systems, instrument systems, radio systems, etc. IIAE Pune admissions are based on course-wise eligibility criteria and scores of the entrance examination conducted by the institute.
